It is MY decision what to do next in this instance, not Panera’s.
In the past I have had a bunch of poor experiences (one in which there was a big piece of the plastic bag IN my salad, demonstrating that Panera doesn’t even rinse the salad greens, much less sort through them to discard any unsavory bits; and one when I had an actual live bug in my salad).
I was pretty shocked considering it was only pm and they were already out of those 2 bagels.
The employee suggested other kinds but I am kind of a picky eater and just like the plain simple kinds.
In 1999, Au Bon Pain sold its other restaurants and renamed itself to Panera Bread Company, realizing the huge potential of the brand.
The name comes from a Latin derivative meaning “bread basket.” The company offers a wide variety of pastries and baked goods, such as muffins, bagels, and pasta, along with beverages, including tea, frozen smoothies, coffees, and lemonade.
Reply I wanted to make a comment regarding Panera delivery.
I went there yesterday 1/23/18 at to get a bagel sandwich and come to find out they are out of Plain and Sesame bagels. Then she said sometimes they have gluten free cookies but they were all sold out. I expressed surprise because this is such a common item. That was odd: there was a display of macaroons, which I’ve always been assured were gluten free. Reply Devin at the Inverness, FL location is not professional. Counter person just said they unexpectedly ran out. However each time I visit the restaurant and ask the manager they continually say they will check into it. Can you please advise how delivery can be made available to me?Thanks, L Reply The staff at the San Antonio store on 151 needs to do a little staff training.
