Bumble is a safe platform for people to connect in dating, friendship, and networking. As a social network rooted in promoting kindness, respect, and empowerment, Bumble provides ways for our users to make genuine connections.
Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building to a single platform.
Users can swipe and create connections in the following ways: Bumble is for everyone!
The app was originally designed to disrupt traditional gender roles in heteronormative dating, but we have since expanded to same-sex dating as well. In same-sex matches, either person is encouraged to make the first move.
After two users have mutually right-swiped one another, a match is created.
After a match is created, you'll see a push notification appear on your phone's lock screen.
The other person has 24 hours to respond, or the connection expires.
However, we're currently working on expanding into allowing users to sign up without a Facebook account. Your date of birth is imported directly from your Facebook profile.
Switching it to "Off" means your profile will only be shown to existing matches and those who you've swiped right on in the past.
If you're unable to copy the gesture presented, click on the "Need another way?
Please note: In order to save the changes you made, you must navigate to another screen in the app.
Switching your public profile to "On" will mean your profile is shown as normal.
